Hello, I'm Victoria Sjolander!

Some facts about me

Most of my friends call me Vicky, and since we're on our way to becoming friends, you can call me that too!

I've been married to my handsome song writing/musician husband for fifteen years, and am a mom of three amazing boys, plus three sweet babies in heaven.

I'm a born and raised Californian. I have lived the majority of my life in sunny, and HOT, Redding, CA, but have spent some time living in Mexico and Washington.

Why did I choose Photography?


Our world, our society, our culture shouts at us that we have to do something, perform, conform, copy, etc to be seen, to be beautiful. to be valuable, to be loved. Photography is my way to tell a different story. I'm here to flip the narrative, and kick it to the curb. 

You are beautiful.

You are valuable.

You are worthy.

You are uniquely you.

And all you have to do is BE. Photography is a way for me to join your story, and expose all the wonderful things that make you YOU. Your story, YOU, are worth capturing. Your story is worth telling.
